  • Commercial Information, including purchases, adjustments, withdrawals, and sales made using the App, communications sent to and from customer support, information you provide in response to surveys, feedback, event participation or product research;
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as IP address, screen information, browser information, operating system information, date and time, device type and identification numbers, log information, links and buttons clicked, page views, referral URL, traffic to and from the Site, and interactions with the App and cookies and other tracking technologies (see “Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies” below);
  • Location data, such as general location data; and
  • Inferences drawn from the above-listed categories of personal information.

We collect personal information you provide to us directly such as when you create an Account or otherwise register to use the App, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, make an enquiry through our Site, contact us for support, or contact us as a prospective user.

When you are asked to provide personal information, you may decline. But if you choose not to provide information that is necessary to enable us to make the App available to you, you may not be able to use some or all of the App. The personal information we collect depends on your use of the App and the choices you make.

Dapper is not responsible and does not endorse or control the content and privacy practices of third-party websites. We and our service providers may use cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies (collectively “cookies”) to collect information about you. Cookies are small files placed on your computer or device that can help improve the App, store preferences and settings, develop analytics, measure promotional effectiveness, and provide a safer and personalized experience.

Without a common industry or legal standard for interpreting Do Not Track (DNT) signals, we do not respond to browser DNT signals. We will continue to monitor further development of a DNT standard by the privacy community and industry.

We will retain your personal information as long as you continue to use the App, have an Account with us, or necessary to fulfill the services you have requested, the purposes for which it was collected, and the purposes outlined in this Notice. If you request to close your Account or delete your personal information, we may be required to retain your personal information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, tax purposes, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, protect against fraud and abuse, or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.

Personal information collected by Dapper may be stored and processed in Canada, the U.S. or in any other country where Dapper or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or service providers maintain facilities in which case the information may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Some countries we transfer personal information to may not be as protective as the country you reside in; however, we have taken the appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy of your personal information. For example, if we transfer personal information from the EEA or UK to a country that has not been deemed to have an adequate level of data protection, we will implement an appropriate data transfer solution such as entering into EU standard contractual clauses or other measures to comply with applicable EU law.

We take reasonable efforts to protect your personal information using appropriate physical, technological, and organizational safeguards. No security is foolproof, and the Internet is an insecure medium. However, we work hard to protect you from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction of your personal information collected and stored by us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personal information for a child under the age of 13, we will delete it, unless we are legally obligated to retain such information. Dapper reserves the right to make changes or update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The revised Privacy Notice will be effective as of the published last updated date. We will also take other measures, to the extent they are required by applicable law.
